The advantages of ball splines in detail:
- Large load capacity: The rolling groove of the ball is precision ground and formed, and adopts Goethe type 40° angular contact. Due to the large contact angle, it has a large load capacity in both the radial and torque directions.
- Zero clearance in the rotation direction: By using 2-4 opposite rows of ball rows with a contact angle of 40°, combining the spline and the spline outer cylinder, and adjusting the preloading method, the clearance in the rotation direction can be zero.
